Student prepares for performance

Listen to student Haley J. (Ferndale HS) as she prepares to play the Adagio movement from Marcello's Oboe Concerto.  Haley is playing the solo line, and I am accompanying her in her lesson so that she is familiar with the piano part before the performance.  Haley has only been taking lessons from me for a year, and her phrasing and tone have greatly improved over the past year.  This piece requires extreme stamina, solid pitch, and good breathe control, all of which she handles beautifully.  She sounds FANTASTIC, and the performance should be a knock out!  Congratulations!
