Congratulations to high school student Arielle W. (Andover HS) for placing second in the Kent Philharmonic Orchestra Concerto Competition, and winning a cash scholarship! Arielle competed in Grand Rapids, MI with students from the entire state, and also performed the Haydn Oboe Concerto from memory at the competition. Fantastic job!

Congratulations to student, Ava W. (Berkley HS) for winning the Birmingham Musicale Scholarship Concerto Competition 2014! Ava performed the Cimarosa Concerto and Albinoni Concerto, and competed against several other students in the Detroit-Metro Area to win the cash scholarship. Such a great job!
