When majoring in music, there are several degrees that all fall under the School of Music.  Some of these degrees include the performance aspect of music, while others focus on different areas including music business and academia.  These degrees are usually conferred as Bachelor of Music (BM), Bachelor of Music Education (BME) or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BA).
